RIB Invests in Expanding Leadership Team as Company Growth Accelerates with the Launch of SpecLink Cloud

A trio of forward-thinking industry experts brings a new level of skills and experience to RIB’s growing leadership team on the heels of SpecLink Cloud’s launch

Building Systems Design, Inc. (RIB), a leading provider of specification content and software for the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner sectors, announced today three new additions to their leadership team.

Daimon Bridge, Lance Kirby, and Claudia Mueller bring industry-relevant sales, BIM expertise, and marketing leadership to fast-growing RIB, which is propelling the industry forward with innovative new technology like SpecLink Cloud, featuring seamless BIM integration and enhanced cloud collaboration.

BIM Integration Links Specs and Revit Models

The newly launched SpecLink Cloud makes it simple to seamlessly link specifications with models in Revit. BIM integration dramatically improves coordination and collaboration within the entire design team—and beyond.

Design professionals can now view and monitor changes in the model as the design evolves. It’s simple to view embedded BIM object data, and isolate individual objects or layers within the model. Immersive, 3D virtual walkthroughs can be viewed from anywhere; no additional Revit licenses are required to view integrated BIM models.

RIB forms innovative alliance with Construction Specifications Canada

Canadian design professionals can now access Canadian National Master Specifications (NMS) within the SpecLink platform , a significant advancement from creating specifications in word processing files.

Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) chose RIB as its exclusive partner to publish NMS, the country’s most comprehensive master specifications. The specifications are maintained by Canada’s National Research Council (NRC), the government’s leading research organization.

SpecLink is the first database-driven specification-writing platform to offer integrated specification content for both the U.S. and Canada. Canadian design professionals will benefit from SpecLink’s innovative tools, including the software’s intelligent database , cloud collaboration and BIM integration.

Launch of SpecLink Cloud revolutionizes coordination and collaboration

Cloud technology is changing the way specifications are coordinated, viewed and shared. Now teams can easily communicate feedback on any project from a common data environment that can be accessed from any web-enabled device.

Cloud sharing streamlines collaboration throughout the entire design and review process—and ensures that teams stay on the same page from pre-design through facility management. SpecLink Cloud’s industry-advancing innovations include seamless BIM integration, which gives design professionals unprecedented visibility.
